Sonny
One half of a great love story.
Sonny is rarely alone. If you can see Sonny, you can usually see Cher, and if you can see Cher, Sonny is somewhere in the frame.
She is the spirited one. White Leghorns are not, by nature, placid hens — they're alert, they're quick, and they have opinions. Sonny is no exception. Whatever quiet exists in the corner of the coop she shares with Cher exists because she has decided, for that moment, to be quiet there.
She arrived in 2025 and is the first White Leghorn at Hennsylvania since Peeper Peep Poppins, the founding queen. The flock has had a White Leghorn for most of its history. With Sonny, it does again.

How to spot her on stream
The all-white hen with the prominent red comb. She's the only White Leghorn in the current flock, so the look is unmistakable once you know it. From there: find Cher, the near-black hen with the green sheen. Sonny is the white one beside her.
